We are seeking a skilled Data Modeler / Data Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in SQL, including proficiency in table and view creation, as well as SQL data analysis. Experience with Snowflake and dimensional modeling is highly desirable. The candidate should have a strong understanding of facts and dimensions, as well as proficiency in working with data in 3rd Normal format. Knowledge of normalization and denormalization techniques is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data models to support business requirements.
- Design and implement efficient database structures.
- Perform data analysis using SQL to extract valuable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on data modeling strategies.
- Ensure data integrity and quality throughout the modeling process.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in data modeling.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in SQL, with experience in table and view creation.
- Strong understanding of Snowflake and dimensional modeling concepts.
- Familiarity with facts, dimensions, and working with data in 3rd Normal format.
- Experience with normalization and denormalization techniques.
- Knowledge of data modeling tools such as Erwin, PowerDesigner, etc.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role or industry.
- Certifications in data modeling or related areas (e.g., CDMP, DAMA).
