Overview:

Main accountabilities include:

  • Ensure MRAS and all relevant company HSE guidelines are implemented and duly respected. Responsible for the implementation of relevant Safety KPI’s and MORSE safety-first culture in Maintenance operations.
  • Ensure that standard safety procedures are followed during maintenance activities to prevent any personal injury or equipment damage.
  • Responsible for ensuring all hazardous activities are only managed with relevant safety instructions/permits in place.
  •  Ensure compliance of Preventive maintenance for all equipment according to the described company policy and OEM instructions.
  • Coordinate with MRAS Ramp operations to arrange and carry out equipment’s scheduled preventive maintenance on time to save equipment and service life.
  •  Inspect the works in the workshop, Mobile van and at the ramp to quality of the Job, and workmanship up to the standard safe environment performed.
  • Support for all relevant maintenance and equipment performance KPI’s timely updated and reported.
  • Verify serviceability of GSE after completion of major overhauls/servicing rectification, outsourced repairs, engine and transmission overhaul, electrical and hydraulic system repairs to certify that the equipment is fit for use of ramp operation.
  •  Daily repair orders closed with all aspects and equipment maintenance history file updated.  
  • Ensure scheduled inspection, daily inspection, daily complaint rectification, daily flight attendance, and submit equipment serviceability and un-serviceability status report.

  •  Responsible for ensuring all hazardous activities are only managed with relevant safety instructions/permits in place.
  • Ensure site incidents, accidents and concerns are reported and documented promptly.
  •  Ensure regular Daily inspection of all ground handling equipment to ensure equipment is in optimum condition.
  • Ensure compliance of Preventive maintenance for all equipment according to described company policy and OEM instructions.
  • Coordinate with MRAS Ramp operations to arrange and carry out equipment’s scheduled preventive maintenance on time to save equipment and service life. 
  •  Inspect the works in the workshop, Mobile van and at the ramp to quality of Job, and workmanship up to the standard safe environment performed.
  • Ensure all maintenance-controlled documents are updated, and reported obsolete in a timely manner.
  • Plan yearly and control all schedules of maintenance/audit requirements to compliance and updated.
  • Support for all relevant maintenance and equipment performance KPI’s timely updated and reported.
  •  Advise and assist Management in the formulation, implementation and annual review of maintenance policies documentation and procedures to achieve greater efficiency
  •  Ensure compliance with company maintenance policies and procedures and the requirements of our customer airlines.
  •  Seek continuous improvements in maintenance operations through root cause analysis of critical incidents/recurring issues and lead implementation of requisite corrective actions.
  • Support in technical qualification of relevant Ground handling equipment sourcing.
  •  Verify serviceability of GSE after completion of major overhauls/servicing rectification, outsourced repairs, engine and transmission overhaul, and electrical and hydraulic system repairs to certify that the equipment is fit for use of ramp operation.
  • Continually improve the operational efficiency within the workshop and equipment, eliminating repetitive breakdowns or failures to ensure the maximum serviceability of the ground handling equipment.
  •  Decide the parts necessary to change, verify correct spare parts are available to maintain the equipment and issuance/replaced recorded.
  •  Daily repair orders closed with all aspects and equipment maintenance history file updated.  
  • Ensure scheduled inspection, daily inspection, daily complaint rectification, daily flight attendance, and submit equipment serviceability and un-serviceability status report.
  •  Help part procurement to quality, specifications, and inspection at sites.
  • Responsible for coordinating/perform above responsibilities to other stations as and when required.
  • Perform any other job/task assigned by the line manager.
