Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the sugar plant, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize plant performance and operational workflows.
- Lead and manage a team of 15 professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management to drive organizational success.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations within the plant.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focusing on process optimization, machinery maintenance, and automation advancements.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between departments such as engineering, supply chain, quality assurance, and maintenance.
- Monitor operational risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges and disruptions.
- Utilize key performance indicators and Objectives and Key Results (OKR) methodologies to track progress and achieve targeted operational goals.
- Manage budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control measures to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Oversee cane development programs, working closely with agricultural teams to ensure quality raw material supply.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and competitive practices to maintain the companys market leadership.
- Report to executive leadership on operational performance, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
- Foster a culture of innovation, safety, and continuous learning among team members.
