Expert Video Editor & Animator

Media Studio is seeking an Expert Video Editor & Animator with a strong background in media science or mass communication and at least four years of professional experience. This role requires mastery of advanced editing and animation software, specifically Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Cinema 4D. The ideal candidate possesses a strong aesthetic sense, precise timing skills, and the ability to control narrative flow effectively. Working within a specialized medical visualization agency, the editor will help produce high-stakes medical content that informs, educates, and saves lives. This position demands expert handling of both video editing and dynamic motion design, with an emphasis on complex medical podcasts, interviews, campaigns, and animations tailored to clinical settings. Although this role does not involve managing a team, it requires working closely with subject experts to create impactful storytelling through polished visual content. The Expert Video Editor & Animator is responsible for managing the full post-production workflow, including visual effects, compositing, and color grading of lengthy medical videos such as multi-camera doctor interviews and health awareness campaigns. This position demands an ability to enhance videos through expert pacing, sound design, and multi-mic audio mixing. Additionally, the role involves creating detailed motion graphics and animations, integrating 2D and 3D elements into clinical footage, and preparing visual assets with precision. Responsibilities

Edit and polish long-form medical content including doctor interviews, medical podcasts, and awareness campaigns using expert video editing techniques.
Perform advanced color grading to enhance visual storytelling and ensure consistency across all produced content.
Conduct multi-mic audio mixing, ensuring clear, balanced sound quality that supports the medical narrative.
Manage multi-camera footage effectively, providing seamless transitions and cohesive video pacing.
Create and integrate complex motion graphics and animations using Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, and other industry-standard software.
Prepare and separate assets using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to facilitate smooth animation and compositing workflows.
Break down and keyframe motion graphic elements, apply motion tracking, and incorporate 2D/3D graphics into clinical footage to create visually compelling content.
Maintain high narrative control with strong attention to timing, ensuring that all content meets the required standards for educational and medical communication.
Follow post-production workflows rigorously to deliver projects on time while maintaining quality and precision.
Collaborate with medical experts and content creators to accurately represent complex medical information through advanced video editing and animation techniques.
