Salesman

Meadows Nursery & Landscaping is seeking a dedicated and motivated Salesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of sales experience and demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively engage with customers and promote our landscaping products and services. This role involves direct interaction with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that contribute to customer satisfaction and business growth. The Salesman will lead a team of nine members, guiding and supporting them to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive team environment. The role requires strong interpersonal abilities to build long-term relationships with clients and handle various sales tasks from prospecting to closing deals. As a team leader, the Salesman will be responsible for coordinating sales activities, training team members, and ensuring the team meets or exceeds its sales goals. A customer-focused approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of nine sales associates to achieve individual and team sales targets.
Engage with customers to understand their landscaping needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to encourage repeat business.
Coordinate sales activities, assign tasks, and provide ongoing training and support to team members.
Monitor sales metrics and prepare reports to evaluate team performance and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with the marketing team to implement effective promotional strategies and campaigns.
Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
Identify new market opportunities and contribute ideas to expand the customer base.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and competitor activities.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures to maintain operational efficiency.
