We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as the Market Plaza Operations / Fundraising Manager. This role will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our commercial land in Bahawalpur, Pakistan, and leading efforts to raise funds from the public for the development of a market plaza. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in operations management, client handling, and fundraising strategies.

Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

  • Develop and implement strategies to efficiently manage the day-to-day operations of the market plaza.
  • Oversee the leasing and rental activities of the commercial units within the plaza.
  • Ensure the premises are well-maintained, clean, and attractive for visitors.
  • Collaborate with maintenance staff to address any repairs or maintenance issues promptly.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to make informed business decisions.

Client Handling and Customer Service:

  • Interact with potential clients, explaining the benefits of leasing a commercial unit in the market plaza.
  • Conduct site visits and provide detailed information about available spaces, amenities, and lease terms.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, addressing any concerns or issues they may have.
  • Implement strategies to attract new clients and maintain high occupancy rates.

Fundraising and Investment Management:

  • Develop and execute fundraising strategies to raise funds from the public for the development of the market plaza.
  • Identify potential investors, negotiate investment terms, and secure financial commitments.
  • Organize fundraising events, promotional campaigns, and presentations to attract investors.
  • Prepare investment proposals, business plans, and financial forecasts to present to potential investors.
  • Provide regular reports on fundraising progress, financial projections, and return on investment to stakeholders.

Team Management and Collaboration:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of staff members responsible for market plaza operations and client services.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
  • Coordinate with external contractors, suppliers, and vendors to meet operational and maintenance requirements.
  • Collaborate with marketing and advertising teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience in operations management, client handling, and fundraising.
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and investors.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and investment evaluation.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to manage a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
