Bsc Chemical Engineering

Maxon is seeking a dedicated Bsc Chemical Engineering professional with at least five years of experience in the field. This role requires expertise in chemical process design and demands a strong understanding of engineering principles as applied to chemical manufacturing and operations. The ideal candidate will work independently to support process optimization, troubleshoot technical challenges, and contribute to efficient production workflows. This position does not involve managing a team, so the focus is placed on individual technical contribution and collaboration with cross-functional groups to ensure successful project implementation and operation excellence.

The engineer is expected to apply analytical skills and engineering judgment to design, develop, and refine chemical processes while maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The role includes participating in continuous improvement initiatives, preparing technical documentation, and supporting scale-up activities. Candidates should be proactive in identifying opportunities for process enhancements and possess the ability to communicate complex engineering concepts clearly to stakeholders across the organization.
Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes to improve efficiency and product quality.
Analyze process data and troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime and production losses.
Prepare detailed process documentation, including flow diagrams, specifications, and reports.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to implement process improvements.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the operation of chemical processes.
Support scale-up activities from laboratory or pilot operations to full-scale production.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and waste minimization in chemical processes.
Apply engineering principles to maintain operational reliability and safety of process equipment.
Use simulation and modeling tools to predict process performance and optimize operating parameters.
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for process issues.
