Max Ventures Group is seeking a Management Accountant to join its growing finance team. This role focuses on transforming accurate financial records into actionable insights that support decision-making across the business. Responsibilities include preparing monthly management accounts, conducting quarterly performance analyses for individual properties and the entire portfolio, and modeling working capital requirements. The role also involves creating and maintaining a live financial dashboard that provides real-time visibility into business performance. As a newly-qualified accountant, you will have the opportunity to take full ownership of these tasks and contribute to shaping the financial outlook of an expanding enterprise. The position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial reporting, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting. The ideal candidate holds ACA or ACCA qualifications and possesses strong expertise in management accounts and financial analysis. Confidence in building dashboards using Excel, Google Sheets, or business intelligence tools is essential. Experience with property or real estate finance, preparing accounts for external review, and familiarity with Xero software are advantages. This role offers a broad scope within a dynamic environment, with the chance to work directly with company leadership and influence how the financial health of the group is understood and managed.
Responsibilities

What you'll do
- Maintain accurate monthly bookkeeping across multiple entities in Xero
- Record and reconcile all transactions, bank feeds, and supplier/customer accounts
- Keep the ledgers clean, categorised, and month-end ready
- Chase and resolve discrepancies before they become problems
- Prepare the books so management accounts can be produced from a clean base
- Support ad-hoc financial administration as the business grows
What we're looking for

Essential
- Solid hands-on bookkeeping experience (ideally two years or more)
- Confident, working knowledge of Xero — this is a hard requirement
- Strong accuracy and follow-through; you close loops without being chased
- Comfortable working independently and remotely
- Good written English
Desirable
- Experience with multi-entity or property bookkeeping
- Exposure to management-accounts preparation
