The Sugar Plant of Matiari Sugar Mills Limited is located on land north east of Matiari Town on Matiari Nasarpur road in District Matiari. The land spreads over 150 acres. It is 30 Kilometers from Hyderabad and 190 Kilometers from Karachi the Port city of Pakistan. The factory is approachable by a network of metal roads from various directions facilitating the transport of sugar cane from various sugar plantations and also the transportation of refined sugar to various cities of Pakistan through metal road leading to the National Highway. The plant was initially installed with a crushing capacity of 2000 tons per day extend able to 3000 tons. The plant is FCB Design, supplied by Messrs Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works Ltd. Consecutive successful Balancing Modifications and Additions enabled Matiari Sugar Mills to increase its crushing capacity to 4000 tons per day. Today MSM has a crushing capacity of 4600 tons per day extend able to 6000 tons per day. Quality of refined sugar produced is comparable with internationally produced refined sugar. The plant has a fully equipped Laboratory, which enables proper and thorough testing of all the parameters necessary for insuring a quality end product with minimal losses at the factory end. The warehouse facility at Matiari Sugar Mills Limited has the capacity to store 20,000 tons of Refined Sugar. Molasses storage capacity stands at 9,000 tons.
