Warehouse Incharge

Warehouse Incharge is responsible for overseeing the operations of the poultry vaccine warehouse, ensuring the proper storage, handling, and distribution of vaccines. This includes maintaining the required temperature controls, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Temperature Control:

    • Monitor and maintain the required temperature range for vaccine storage.
    • Ensure all refrigeration and monitoring equipment is functioning correctly.
    • Implement contingency plans for power outages or equipment failure.
  2. Inventory Management:

    • Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments of vaccines.
    • Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
    • Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate records.
  3. Order Fulfillment:

    • Coordinate the preparation and dispatch of vaccine orders to various locations.
    • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  4. Team Management:

    • Supervise warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
    • Foster a positive work environment and ensure staff adherence to company policies and procedures.
  5. Reporting and Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all warehouse activities.
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory levels, temperature logs, and any incidents.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a temperature-controlled environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and software.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
