The Compliance Executive is responsible for ensuring that Mars BPO adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role involves monitoring compliance activities, conducting audits, and fostering a culture of ethical behavior across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, risk management principles, and an eye for detail to ensure operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure the organization complies with local, national, and industry-specific laws and regulations.
  • Monitor changes in legislation and update policies and procedures accordingly.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and manage compliance reporting.

Policy Management

  • Develop, implement, and maintain internal compliance policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all employees are aware of and trained on compliance-related policies.

Risk Management

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks within the organization.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and recommend corrective actions to address vulnerabilities.

Audits and Investigations

  • Conduct internal audits to evaluate compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Investigate and report non-compliance incidents, providing recommendations for resolution.

Training and Awareness

  • Organize compliance training sessions for employees to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Promote a culture of ethical behavior and compliance awareness throughout the organization.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, including audits, investigations, and training.
  • Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management.

Qualifications and Skills

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related role, preferably in the BPO industry.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO standards).
  • Proficiency in compliance management tools and software is an advantage.
