We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of our agency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, particularly within a service-oriented or marketing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the budgeting process, monitor agency expenditures, and provide financial insights to management.
  • Client Billing and Invoicing: Manage client invoices, track payments, and ensure timely and accurate billing in coordination with the client service teams.
  • Payroll Management: Process payroll for employees, ensuring timely payment and compliance with local labor laws.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor payments and managing receivables from clients.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including preparing and filing tax returns, VAT/GST submissions, and coordinating with tax advisors.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and forecast the agency’s cash flow, ensuring sufficient funds for operations and growth.
  • Audit Preparation: Prepare and assist with internal and external audits as necessary.
  • Financial Strategy: Provide financial analysis and advice to support business decisions, including cost control, pricing models, and profitability analysis.
  • Software & Tools: Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to maintain accurate financial records.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar accounting certification preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with a preference for experience in a marketing, advertising, or similar service-oriented industry.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax compliance, and financial forecasting.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and analytical skills.
