MAF BIS Credit Information Services Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Valuation Officer to support its valuation processes. The ideal candidate has a strong background in asset valuation, with a particular focus on land, plant, and machinery. This role requires a thorough understanding of valuation procedures, regulatory requirements, and the ability to prepare detailed valuation reports using tools like MS Word. The candidate will work independently, managing valuation assignments from initial inspection through to final report preparation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client expectations. This position suits professionals with at least five years of relevant experience and a completed track record of conducting at least twelve valuations of land and plant & machinery within a year under supervision. Excellent communication skills and report writing capabilities are essential to convey complex valuation findings clearly and accurately. Although this role does not involve managing a team, strong coordination skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines are fundamental to success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive valuations of land, plant, and machinery according to established procedures and standards.
- Have knowledged of reporting to PBA (Pakistan Banking Association ) as per rules
- Perform detailed inspections, market analysis, and verification of assets to determine accurate valuations.
- Prepare thoroughly documented valuation reports that comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Ensure all valuation documentation is properly formatted and presented using MS Word and other necessary tools.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of valuation standards, compliance issues, and regulatory changes affecting valuation practices.
- Coordinate valuation assignments efficiently by managing timelines and communicating progress with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Work independently to prioritize tasks, control workload, and meet all deadlines associated with valuation assignments.
- Apply strong analytical skills to assess asset condition, market trends, and other relevant factors influencing valuation outcomes.
- Communicate valuation results clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats.
- Adhere strictly to company procedures and ethical guidelines throughout the valuation process.
