- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including manual records, in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Verify the accuracy of financial data and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Perform regular reconciliation of bank accounts and payables to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Post accruals and other adjusting entries as necessary.
- Assist in drafting financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Perform internal audits and support external audit processes by providing necessary documentation.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and financial regulations.
- Prepare and submit required financial reports to management and relevant authorities.
