We are currently seeking a skilled Food Processing Operator to join our Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating food processing machinery and equipment used in the production of mango pulp, tomato paste, and other fruit and vegetable products. They will also ensure the cleanliness of the production area and the quality of our final products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor food processing machinery, including equipment for pulp extraction and paste production.
- Ensure the correct processing of mango pulp, tomato paste, and other fruits and vegetables.
- Adhere to food safety standards (HACCP, GMP) and follow company policies.
- Perform sanitation tasks to maintain cleanliness in work areas and machinery.
- Conduct routine checks and report equipment malfunctions or issues.
- Assist with packing, labeling, and storing finished products.
- Ensure quality control of finished products before packaging.
- Maintain production logs and communicate with supervisors regarding production issues.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in food processing or manufacturing is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Basic mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
