Lucky Cement Limited is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Junior Financial Planning & M&A Analyst to support our corporate finance team. This position is ideal for individuals with a foundational understanding of financial modeling and mergers and acquisitions who are eager to advance their careers in the finance sector. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills and a commitment to accuracy while assisting in the preparation of financial plans, conducting market research, and analyzing financial data relevant to business growth and investment opportunities.

Our ideal candidate has a solid educational background in finance or accounting, complemented by 1-2 years of relevant experience, and is comfortable working with financial models and advanced Excel functionalities. Additionally, candidates with professional certifications such as CFA or CPA will be viewed favorably, though they are not mandatory.


Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing and maintaining detailed financial models that support strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to provide insights into the company's performance and potential M&A opportunities.
  • Participate in the due diligence process for mergers and acquisitions, analyzing financial statements and future projections.
  • Research and compile financial data and market trends to assist in the preparation of reports for senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights relevant to financial projects and initiatives.
  • Support the financial planning process by preparing budgets and forecasts that align with corporate objectives.
  • Utilize Excel to develop reports and dashboards for tracking key financial metrics.
  • Prepare presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact financial planning and M&A strategies.
  • Provide ad-hoc analytical support for various finance-related projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in financial planning, M&A, or project management
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills

Having a professional certification (e.g. CFA, CPA) would be a plus.
