We are seeking a talented and motivated SEO / Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in both search engine optimization and social media management, with a strong understanding of how the two areas work together to drive business growth. The candidate should also have excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing.
Responsibilities:
SEO:
- Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for website optimization
- Optimize website content, meta tags, and other on-page elements for target keywords and user experience
- Develop and execute link building strategies to improve website authority and credibility
- Monitor and analyze website traffic, rankings, and other performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithms, and best practices
- Collaborate with content creators and web developers to implement SEO best practices
- Provide SEO recommendations and guidance to clients and team members
Social Media:
- Develop and execute social media strategies that align with business goals and target audience
- Create and publish high-quality content across multiple social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube
- Engage with the audience through social media, responding to comments and messages, and building community relationships
- Monitor social media metrics, including reach, engagement, and conversion rates, and use data to inform future strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and creative, to create social media campaigns that align with broader marketing initiatives
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices and incorporate them into social media strategies
- Monitor and report on competitor and industry activity across social media platforms
- Create and manage social media advertising campaigns across various platforms, including Facebook and Instagram
Requirements:
- 1-5 years of experience in SEO and social media management
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors
- Experience with keyword research and analysis tools such as Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, and SEMrush
- Proficiency in website analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube
- Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, and Google Analytics
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create engaging content for various social media platforms
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- Experience with graphic design and video editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Final Cut Pro
- Familiarity with SEO and content marketing strategies
- Experience with influencer marketing and partnerships
- Experience with community management and engagement strategies
