We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech / Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. The SLP will work collaboratively with children, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at improving communication skills and overall quality of life. 

Key Responsibilities:

Assessment and Diagnosis:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
  • Utilize standardized assessments and clinical observations to diagnose communication disorders.
  • Analyze assessment results to develop individualized treatment plans.

Treatment and Intervention:

  • Provide evidence-based therapy to address speech and language disorders, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language comprehension.
  • Design and implement therapy programs tailored to each patient’s needs.
  • Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.

Collaboration and Education:

  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals, educators, and families to support patient goals.
  • Educate patients and families about communication disorders and strategies to enhance communication skills at home and in the community.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to holistic care strategies.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Prepare and submit reports and documentation for insurance and billing purposes.
  • Stay informed about best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure to practice as a Speech and Language Pathologist.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a clinical, educational, or rehabilitative setting is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage a diverse caseload.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to engage in activities that require mobility, including sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Capacity to lift and assist patients as needed.
