Liberty Builders is seeking a diligent and organized Store In-Charge to oversee all warehouse operations essential for smooth project execution. The ideal candidate will manage inventory procurement, accurate stock tracking, and material distribution to ensure project teams have timely access to necessary materials. This role also requires maintaining an orderly and efficient warehouse environment, managing vendor relations to enhance operational efficiency. The Store In-Charge takes full responsibility for monitoring stock levels, inspecting incoming materials, and ensuring accurate inventory through regular audits and reconciliations. This position demands strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, project teams, and internal departments effectively. Candidates must possess a solid foundation in inventory management, warehouse systems, and vendor management, complemented by a minimum of three years experience in material or construction management and relevant educational qualifications.


Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of five store employees to ensure efficient warehouse operations and adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Monitor daily stock levels and initiate timely procurement procedures to avoid delays in project material availability.
  • Receive, inspect, and verify the quality and quantity of incoming materials against purchase orders to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Issue materials systematically to project teams, maintaining detailed records to track consumption and prevent stock shortages or excesses.
  • Conduct regular physical stock audits to identify and reconcile discrepancies, ensuring inventory control integrity.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems to update inventory data, manage stock locations, and streamline logistics operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, complying with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to manage purchase orders, resolve issues, and sustain positive vendor relationships.
  • Implement and refine inventory management processes to optimize stock turnover and reduce wastage or obsolescence.
  • Prepare reports on inventory status, discrepancies, and procurement needs for management review and decision-making.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and inventory software usage.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and procurement teams to forecast material needs and support uninterrupted project progress.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for all warehouse transactions to maintain transparency and audit readiness.
  • Develop contingency plans to address potential supply chain disruptions and maintain consistent material flow.
  • Promote continuous improvement in warehouse operations by identifying inefficiencies and implementing corrective measures.
  • Maintain compliance with all company standards, health and safety regulations, and industry best practices in warehouse management.
