As a Speech and Language Pathologist at Learning Hands Rehabilitation Centre, you will play a crucial role in helping our patients overcome communication challenges and achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions to improve communication skills.
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to patients, either in-person or through teletherapy, ensuring a supportive and compassionate environment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, caregivers, and families to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Monitor and track patients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on strategies to enhance communication outside of therapy sessions.
- Stay updated with the latest developments and research in the field of speech and language pathology.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and their families.
- Compassionate, patient, and understanding approach towards individuals with communication disorders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseload efficiently and maintain accurate records.
Salary and Benefits:
- The salary for this position ranges from 40,000 to 65,000/month, depending on the candidate's level of experience and qualifications.
- Additional opportunities for earning through OPD's on Saturdays, based on a percentage basis.
