Senior Officer Quality Assurance

Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring the quality of petroleum products during receipt (via pipelines & tank lorries) and in storage tanks of the terminal using recommended ASTM test methods while complying with GOP specifications.
Conduct testing of external samples and maintain all logbooks while preparing test reports.
Timely prepare monthly and quarterly summaries and submit them to the charge of QA.
Report quality-related issues to the charge of QA promptly.
Manage third-party testing and bill submissions to the Incharge of QA.
Ensure the timely calibration of lab items and equipment.
Oversee the smooth operation and maintenance of lab equipment.
Manage samples retention and lab waste management effectively.
Handle lab inventory and timely raise demands for procurement.
Responsible for overall lab housekeeping and HSE, ensuring the use of PPE during lab operations and sampling of tanks, pipelines, and tank lorries.
Visit customer sites to address quality-related complaints and queries.
Conduct internal and external audits for labs.
Utilize updated ISO documentation related to labs.
Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Incharge of Quality Assurance.
