Responsibilities
  • Responsible for ensuring the quality of petroleum products during receipt (via pipelines & tank lorries) and in storage tanks of the terminal using recommended ASTM test methods while complying with GOP specifications.
  • Conduct testing of external samples and maintain all logbooks while preparing test reports.
  • Timely prepare monthly and quarterly summaries and submit them to the charge of QA.
  • Report quality-related issues to the charge of QA promptly.
  • Manage third-party testing and bill submissions to the Incharge of QA.
  • Ensure the timely calibration of lab items and equipment.
  • Oversee the smooth operation and maintenance of lab equipment.
  • Manage samples retention and lab waste management effectively.
  • Handle lab inventory and timely raise demands for procurement.
  • Responsible for overall lab housekeeping and HSE, ensuring the use of PPE during lab operations and sampling of tanks, pipelines, and tank lorries.
  • Visit customer sites to address quality-related complaints and queries.
  • Conduct internal and external audits for labs.
  • Utilize updated ISO documentation related to labs.
  • Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Incharge of Quality Assurance.
