Quality Assurance Assistant.

Knox Solar Pvt Ltd is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Assistant with at least 3 years of experience to join our team. This role involves supporting the quality assurance process by conducting detailed manual testing and managing test cases to ensure our solar technology products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. The ideal candidate will be skilled in quality control processes and familiar with the software testing life cycle to effectively identify and document defects and areas for improvement. The Quality Assurance Assistant will work closely with a small team of 2 persons, contributing to the planning, execution, and monitoring of testing activities. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively communicate findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous quality enhancements within the product development lifecycle.
Responsibilities

Develop and manage comprehensive test case documents based on product requirements and specifications.
Perform manual testing activities across various product stages to verify functionality, usability, and performance.
Execute the software testing life cycle phases, including test planning, designing, execution, reporting, and closure.
Maintain detailed records of defects and quality issues, working with the development team to facilitate timely resolutions.
Support quality control processes by monitoring product compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with the quality assurance team and other departments to identify areas for quality improvement.
Assist in preparing test reports and documentation to communicate test results and compliance status.
Work under the guidance of the quality assurance manager while providing input toward process enhancements.
Help coordinate and communicate testing schedules and priorities within the 2-person team.
Participate in regular team meetings to review test progress, issues, and next steps.
