ACCOUNTS OFFICER

Responsibilities

Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure correct posting of financial transactions.
Perform bank reconciliations regularly to verify completeness and accuracy of cash records.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to provide insights into the company's financial health.
Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and coordinate the timely submission of tax filings.
Manage invoice processing, including verification, documentation, and timely payment.
Supervise and lead a team of two accounting staff, delegating tasks and providing guidance to ensure efficiency.
Use accounting software efficiently to record, track, and report financial data.
Identify process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the accounting department.
Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors during financial audits.
Maintain confidentiality and security of financial information and sensitive company data.
