Khurshid Textile is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Accounts Manager to lead and oversee the companys accounting operations. This critical position focuses on maintaining the financial health of the organization by ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, rigorous tax compliance, and effective audit management. The Senior Accounts Manager plays a key role in supporting management decisions through comprehensive financial analysis and reporting.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in the textile manufacturing industry with at least 7 years of professional experience. They possess deep expertise in Pakistan's tax laws, financial reporting standards in accordance with IFRS, and are proficient in financial reporting software such as SAP and Oracle Financials. Although this role does not involve managing a team, the successful candidate must demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining strict compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, and Cash Flow statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Manage all direct and indirect tax matters, including comprehensive handling of Pakistans Federal Board of Revenue requirements such as Income Tax, Sales Tax, withholding tax, and e-filing portals.
- Lead and coordinate internal and external audit processes ensuring smooth year-end closing and compliance with audit standards.
- Oversee factory production costing, perform variance analysis, and manage budget planning and monitoring to support manufacturing operations.
- Monitor daily treasury and cash flow activities; maintain effective bank relations while overseeing accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, corporate governance standards, and implement best practices for financial control and reporting accuracy.
- Utilize ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or customized Textile ERPs to streamline financial processes and reporting.
- Apply advanced MS Excel skills for detailed financial analysis, forecasting, and presentation to senior management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, tax regulations, and financial best practices enhancing the companys financial operations.
- Work collaboratively across departments to support organizational goals and maintain financial integrity.
