Production Manager

Khurshid Textile Mills is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee and optimize the manufacturing processes within the organization. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in production management, demonstrating strong capabilities in planning, executing, and controlling production activities to ensure high-quality output and efficient use of resources. This role involves managing a team of 15 persons and requires a hands-on leader who can coordinate with various departments to drive continuous improvement, uphold health and safety standards, and meet production targets consistently. The Production Manager is responsible for developing and implementing production plans aligned with company goals, monitoring workflow, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety regulations. The successful candidate will manage inventory and materials planning, drive process improvements to reduce waste and increase efficiency, and maintain budget control. This role demands leadership skills to motivate the team, solve operational challenges, and maintain effective communication across the supply chain to guarantee smooth production cycles at Khurshid Textile Mills.
Responsibilities

Develop and implement detailed production plans to meet company objectives and delivery deadlines.
Supervise and lead a team of 15 production staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and health and safety regulations.
Coordinate supply chain activities, including raw material procurement and inventory management, to maintain consistent production flow.
Oversee the application of Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
Manage budget allocations related to production operations and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Conduct regular process improvement initiatives, analyzing operational data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records related to production metrics, quality control, and inventory levels.
Ensure timely communication with related departments such as procurement, maintenance, and quality assurance to align production goals.
Implement and enforce health and safety policies to promote a safe working environment for all production personnel.
Manage material requirements planning (MRP) systems to facilitate effective inventory control and production scheduling.
Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance skill sets and improve overall production capability.
Evaluate production performance through key performance indicators and prepare reports for senior management.
Address and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain high operational efficiency.
