Khurshid Textile Mills is seeking a meticulous Export Documentation Specialist with at least three years of experience to manage and coordinate all aspects of export-related document processing. The ideal candidate ensures complete compliance with customs regulations and international trade laws, facilitating smooth and timely export operations. This role involves preparing and verifying critical shipping documents including bills of lading and customs papers, coordinating with freight forwarders, and ensuring all documentation meets the necessary standards to avoid shipment delays or compliance issues. Attention to detail and thorough knowledge of export documentation processes are essential in this position. The Export Documentation Specialist at Khurshid Textile Mills works independently and does not manage a team. The candidate must be highly organized and capable of handling multiple export shipments simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Collaboration with internal departments and external agencies such as customs authorities and shipping companies is crucial to facilitate seamless export operations. This position demands strong skills in document management, customs compliance, and effective coordination with logistics partners to support the companys international trade activities.
Responsibilities

Manage the preparation, verification, and submission of all export documentation including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
Ensure full compliance with customs regulations and international trade laws by reviewing and monitoring documentation accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate closely with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs officials to facilitate smooth export clearance and shipping processes.
Maintain accurate records and files of export documentation for audits and regulatory purposes.
Verify shipment details against purchase orders and contracts to prevent discrepancies and shipping delays.
Communicate with internal departments such as sales, finance, and operations to gather required information for export documentation.
Monitor export schedules and shipment status to ensure timely delivery and address documentation-related issues proactively.
Support audits and inspections by providing detailed export documentation and resolving any discrepancies found.
Continuously update knowledge of export compliance regulations and international trade requirements to maintain adherence.
Assist in resolving customer inquiries related to export shipments and documentation status.
