We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Incharge to oversee the laboratory operations at our Mineral Processing /Grinding mill. The ideal candidate will be responsible for quality control, ensuring that all products meet specified standards, and managing the testing and analysis of raw materials and finished products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all laboratory activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and protocols.
- Perform quality control tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
- Ensure all equipment is calibrated and properly maintained for accurate and efficient testing.
- Ensure ISO standards in lab and related departments
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for lab processes.
- Monitor the performance of testing equipment and ensure timely reporting of test results.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to troubleshoot any quality issues.
- Keep accurate records of all test results, maintaining detailed reports for internal audits.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations within the laboratory.
- Train and supervise laboratory staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in laboratory management, preferably in a grinding mill or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and quality control standards.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in lab equipment and software for data analysis.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
