Pharmaceutical Production Manager

Khairkhwa Pharma is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Pharmaceutical Production Manager to lead and oversee the manufacturing processes within our pharmaceutical production facility. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, demonstrating a thorough understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality assurance and control, and production planning. This role requires managing a team of 40 persons, ensuring that the production operations meet company standards and regulatory compliance effectively. The candidate must be willing to relocate to Afghanistan and work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance production efficiency and quality. The Pharmaceutical Production Manager is responsible for supervising daily production activities, maintaining GMP compliance, and implementing quality management systems to ensure product excellence and safety. The role involves process optimization and effective resource planning using tools like Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) and SAP Production Planning (SAP PP). The successful candidate will also enforce adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and foster a culture of continuous improvement among the production team. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential to drive collaboration and maintain alignment with organizational goals.
Responsibilities

Manage and lead the daily operations of pharmaceutical production, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
Implement and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Quality Management Systems (QMS) to ensure regulatory compliance and product quality.
Plan and optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining product safety standards.
Supervise, train, and motivate a team of 40 production staff, fostering a safe and productive working environment.
Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams to monitor product quality, resolve production issues, and implement corrective actions.
Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) compliance to maintain consistent manufacturing standards.
Use Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) and SAP Production Planning (SAP PP) tools to manage production scheduling and inventory control.
Monitor equipment performance and collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and ensure optimal operation.
Manage resource allocation and monitor material usage to ensure timely and cost-effective production delivery.
Conduct regular training sessions and performance evaluations to enhance team skills and maintain high safety standards.
Ensure all production activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and quality assurance, to streamline production and supply chain processes.
Prepare and maintain detailed production reports and documentation for internal review and regulatory inspections.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, product quality, and operational excellence.
Support new product introduction and technology upgrades by overseeing pilot runs and scaling up production activities.
