Documentation Manager

Kamraj Enterprises Pvt Ltd, a global leader in trading, import, and indenting of scrap metal commodities, is seeking a dedicated Documentation Manager to join its Lahore office. This role focuses on managing comprehensive documentation processes related to international trade, specifically within the scrap metal or bulk commodities sector. The ideal candidate possesses at least 1 year of experience in international trade documentation and demonstrates excellent organizational skills, precision, and the ability to work under pressure to ensure smooth operations and regulatory compliance. The Documentation Manager is responsible for preparing and managing critical trade documents such as Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, and Certificates of Origin. In addition, the role demands active handling of Letters of Credit and coordination with various parties including shipping lines, freight forwarders, clearing agents, and banks. This position requires a detailed understanding of international trade regulations, customs requirements, and commercial banking processes. While the role is not managerial in terms of supervision, it requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and communication to support the companys industrial growth initiatives.
Responsibilities

Prepare and manage essential trade documentation including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Certificates of Origin.
Review, execute, and manage Letters of Credit, Bank Contracts, and CAD transactions while ensuring accuracy to prevent discrepancies.
Ensure strict compliance with Pakistan Customs regulations to avoid demurrage or customs-related delays.
Coordinate effectively with shipping lines, freight forwarders, clearing agents, and banking institutions to facilitate seamless trade operations.
Maintain detailed records and documentation to support audit requirements and company policies.
Monitor and optimize the documentation workflow for efficiency and accuracy using Document Management Systems (DMS).
Apply quality assurance principles to ensure all documentation meets regulatory and company standards.
Stay informed on international shipping laws, Incoterms, and commercial bank LC procedures to ensure up-to-date compliance.
Communicate clearly and professionally in written and verbal English to coordinate with internal teams and external partners.
Identify issues in documentation processes and apply problem-solving skills to resolve challenges under time-sensitive conditions.
