We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Executive to join our finance team. The Tax Executive will be responsible for accurately recording transactions, preparing tax challans, returns, and statements, and maintaining up-to-date records. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in tax regulations, compliance requirements, and have strong analytical and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transaction Recording: Ensure accurate recording of all tax-related transactions in the accounting system.
- Tax Preparation: Prepare and file tax challans, returns, and statements in compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
- Record Maintenance: Keep comprehensive and updated records of all tax documents, transactions, and filings.
- Compliance and Monitoring: Stay updated on tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements.
- Support for Audits: Assist in tax audits and provide the necessary documentation and support to auditors when required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: Master’s degree in Commerce (M.COM), MBA in Finance, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation and filing, with a solid understanding of tax-related recording and compliance.
Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting and tax preparation software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualities:
- Up-to-date knowledge of local and national tax laws and regulations.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
