The Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the company’s growth objectives. This role requires strategic planning, excellent communication skills, and a results-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Market Research and Analysis:

    • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, emerging trends, and competitive landscape.
    • Analyze business prospects and evaluate their feasibility.
  2. Client Acquisition:

    • Develop and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities.
    • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  3. Strategic Planning:

    • Collaborate with senior management to develop business development strategies.
    • Prepare and deliver effective presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
  4. Sales and Revenue Growth:

    • Meet and exceed sales targets and business goals.
    • Negotiate contracts and close deals with prospective clients.
  5. Collaboration and Reporting:

    • Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to align strategies.
    • Maintain and update CRM tools with client data and progress reports.
    • Provide regular updates and reports on progress to management.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • MBA preferred.

Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Results-driven with a strong focus on achieving targets.
