Responsibilities

Design, implement, and optimize machine learning and deep learning models tailored to complex AI tasks, including natural language processing and generative AI.
Develop, test, and deploy large-scale production AI systems, ensuring robust performance, scalability, and security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design AI solutions, and integrate models with cloud-based infrastructure and APIs.
Utilize data preprocessing techniques to clean, prepare, and augment datasets for improved model accuracy and efficiency.
Apply state-of-the-art methodologies in retrieval-augmented generation and large language models to advance Jlab's AI capabilities.
Participate in MLOps practices, including model version control, continuous integration, deployment automation, and monitoring to maintain model health in production.
Communicate effectively with the US-based team through clear spoken English to review progress, discuss challenges, and align on project goals.
Continuously research and stay updated on emerging AI trends, frameworks, and tools to maintain technical leadership and drive innovation.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code to ensure reproducibility and ease of collaboration.
Contribute to architectural decisions and provide technical mentorship on best practices even without formal team management duties.
