Key Responsibilities:

Welding Operations:
- Perform TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding on stainless steel components used in dairy processing and packaging.
- Ensure all welds meet industry standards and specifications, maintaining the integrity and hygiene required for dairy production.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings to determine welding requirements.
- Select appropriate tungsten electrodes and filler materials based on the specific requirements of the project.
Equipment and Material Handling:
- Set up and operate welding equipment, including power sources, torches, and shielding gas systems.
- Inspect materials, components, and equipment to ensure they are clean and free from contaminants.
- Handle and store welding materials and tools properly to prevent contamination and ensure longevity.
Quality Control:
- Conduct visual inspections of welds to identify defects such as cracks, porosity, and incomplete fusion.
- Perform necessary adjustments to welding techniques to achieve the desired quality and adherence to industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of welding operations, including material usage, time, and inspection results.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as welding helmets, gloves, and flame-resistant clothing.
- Follow hygiene and sanitation standards critical in the dairy industry to prevent contamination.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to coordinate welding tasks and ensure smooth workflow.
- Provide input on design modifications and improvements to enhance weld quality and process efficiency
