The Data Entry Operator plays a critical role in ensuring that data is accurately captured and maintained across various platforms, supporting business processes and decision-making. Responsibilities include reviewing and verifying data for completeness and correctness, handling large volumes of information quickly and securely, and assisting with the preparation of reports. The ideal individual demonstrates strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines while upholding company quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter and update information into databases and company systems according to set standards.
- Verify data correctness and completeness by reviewing source documents.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
- Use Microsoft Excel and other software tools to organize, sort, and analyze data as required.
- Perform routine checks to identify and correct errors in the data entry process.
- Manage and prioritize multiple tasks to ensure timely completion of data entry assignments.
- Collaborate with various departments to obtain additional data or clarify incomplete information.
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly status reports to supervisors.
- Assist in creating data reports and visualizations for internal use.
- Follow company policies and procedures while handling data and adhere to quality assurance requirements.
