- Collaborate with the Head of Administration and Security to develop and implement horticultural plans, strategies, and budgets.
- Supervise and lead a team of gardeners and machinery operators, ensuring efficient and effective execution of horticultural activities.
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of the plant nursery machinery, ensuring they are in working order.
- Monitor the health and appearance of all plants, trees, lawns, and landscape features within the housing society.
- Coordinate the planting, pruning, and removal of trees and plants, following best horticultural practices.
- Manage the irrigation systems to ensure that plants receive the appropriate levels of water.
- Identify and manage plant diseases, pests, and other issues, implementing pest control and disease management programs.
- Maintain records of plant and equipment inventory, maintenance schedules, and expenditure.
- Address community complaints related to horticulture and work with the Head of Administration to resolve issues promptly.
- Keep empty plots clean and ensure that road shoulders are neat and free from wild growth.
- Promote sustainability and environmental responsibility in horticultural practices, such as composting and water conservation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines for horticultural activities.
