The Accountant will work independently, as this role does not involve managing a team, but requires consistent collaboration with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations and accurate reporting.
Responsibilities

Perform accurate account reconciliations to verify financial data integrity.
Manage tax preparation activities and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
Maintain and update the general ledger with all financial transactions.
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments and collections.
Apply reconciliation techniques to resolve discrepancies and discrepancies in financial records.
Prepare periodic financial reports and summaries for management review.
Ensure all accounting activities comply with company policies and accounting standards.
Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits to provide necessary documentation and explanations.
