Target Manpower Services is looking for a skilled IT Technician to join their team on-site in Lahore. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 12 years of Gulf experience. This role requires hands-on expertise in installing, configuring, and maintaining various IT hardware such as desktops, laptops, printers, and scanners. The technician will also be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing basic network problems, and handling Active Directory user management. Additional duties include workstation imaging, performing backups and restores, managing antivirus and patch updates, providing LAN support including switches and Wi-Fi, maintaining documentation and ticketing systems, coordinating with vendors, and managing spare parts inventory. This is a full-time position with morning shifts, and there is an opportunity for relocation to Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and scanners.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Resolve basic network problems and provide LAN support including switches and Wi-Fi.
- Manage Active Directory user accounts and permissions.
- Perform workstation imaging, backups, and restores.
- Oversee antivirus and patch management to ensure system security.
- Maintain accurate documentation and manage ticketing systems for IT support requests.
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement, repairs, and service agreements.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and ensure availability for timely repairs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 years of IT technician experience in the Gulf region is mandatory.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Equivalent certifications or relevant hands-on experience will also be considered.
