We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT & Networking Manager to lead and manage the entire IT infrastructure at Claim Care, supporting over 150 systems in a fast-paced medical billing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring reliable network operations, protecting sensitive data, and maintaining critical communication tools that support business functions. This role demands hands-on management of IT systems, network administration, and user support to ensure smooth daily operations and prepare the infrastructure for future growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and maintain IT infrastructure supporting more than 150 systems and users.
- Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Teams along with other Microsoft 365 services.
- Handle user account management, including creation, permission settings, access control, and deactivation.
- Oversee server management tasks such as setup, maintenance, backups, and troubleshooting.
- Manage WAN/LAN networking to maintain network uptime and resolve connectivity issues promptly.
- Coordinate with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to manage internet services and address outages.
- Implement and maintain IT security protocols to safeguard sensitive medical billing data.
- Provide technical support and training to staff as needed.
- Maintain IT asset inventory, licensing, and proper documentation.
- Plan and prepare IT infrastructure scalability aligned with company growth objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in IT and networking, preferably within the medical billing sector.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Teams administration, user account and access management, server management, and WAN/LAN network setup and troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to independently manage IT operations for a large user base of over 150 systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with teams.
- Knowledge of data privacy and security best practices; familiarity with medical billing compliance standards such as HIPAA is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- CCNA certification is preferred.
- Willingness to work hybrid shifts, including evening (1:00 PM – 10:00 PM) and night shifts (10:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
