Islamic Relief Pakistan is seeking a dedicated Reporting & Database Officer to manage and optimize data entry procedures, database development, and management information systems. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely data reporting to support decision-making processes across the organization. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Database Management, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or Statistics, with relevant experience in database management and reporting, demonstrating strong technical skills and attention to detail. The Reporting & Database Officer works independently without team management responsibilities, focusing on data integrity, database optimization, and timely generation of reports. The position requires expertise in handling large datasets, maintaining database security, and using management information systems effectively to support program monitoring and organizational objectives. The role plays a critical part in supporting Islamic Relief Pakistan's mission by ensuring data accuracy and reliability that informs program performance and strategic planning.
Technical
Specific Responsibilities
· Support programming and field staff to ensure that projects are carried out with participation from all affected communities (including women) and that information is shared with affected communities.
· Maintain the Conflict and Feedback Mechanism database and conduct regular analysis to inform decision making and future project designs
· Ensure that all programmes are designed and implemented in accordance with CHS
Programme Learning and documentation
· Lead programme learning and knowledge management processes.
· Produce analytical briefs and periodic information reports.
· Support evaluations and evidence generation activities.
· Promote utilization of monitoring and assessment findings.
· Establish reporting mechanisms for continuous improvement.
Operational
· Preparation of weekly / monthly work plans.
· Maintenance of hard record that includes field visits reports, beneficiary data, assessment record, distribution record & other documentation.
· Ensure punching accurate information in MIS/Excel Databases
· Ensure appropriate beneficiary’s data collection & screening prior to making any transaction
· Ensure proper filling of forms & formats as per desired standard
· Extend support Senior Project officer / Project Officer/ MEAL / Communications staff for gathering desired information.
· Ensure availability of up to date info in MIS on regular basis with consultation of Project Teams
· Close coordination with line manager for effective implementation of project activities.
Organizational
· Ensure compliance with IR’s policies & procedures in true spirit for effective delivery of services to communities.
· In depth understanding of IR values and their demonstration in the field while working with communities.
· Abide by the IR zero tolerance policy towards bribery & corruption through sensitization / empowerment of communities on coping mechanism so that they can raise voice as & when feel inappropriate.
· Thorough knowledge of IR strategic priorities to ensure effective implementation with future sustainability.
· Assist in identification & documentation of organizational successes for show casing IR work
· Facilitate communities in adaptation of environment friendly & cost effective approaches to meet their current as well as future needs with specific attention to climate change.
· Focused efforts to be made for mainstreaming of marginalized groups i.e. Persons with disability and old age, minorities, Women & children etc in consultation & implementation of project activities at ground.
· Strengthen mechanism to Influence the decision makers through communities to pay attention towards DRR planning, give voice to suffering and the excluded, highlighting the protection needs of people.
· Participation and facilitation in implementation of IR seasonal programmes & emergency response.

Qualification:
Bachelor’s / master’s degree in: Information Technology, Computer Science, Database Management, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, Statistics (preferred).
Experience:
Minimum 3 for master’s degree and 5 years for Bachelors relevant experience in:
