JOB PURPOSE:

The intern will be given an exposure to IRP’s Child Protection programming, particularly Prevention of Child Marriage Project. Besides, the intern will be all the functions of the programme department (country office). The intern will learn to carry out various project activities/tasks and will also be exposed to different (real-time) scenarios to deal with other departments and staff.

Key Rsponsibilties:

  • To learn about conducting research on relevant topics, issues, and policies and review reports.
  • Carry out literature reviews, data analysis, and staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.
  • Assist in various on-going advocacy projects, activities and field visits
  • Assist in writing meeting minutes
  • Regular coordination with other internal departments for timely and smooth implementation of tasks/activities
  • To engage in the preparations/ arrangements of different project related events either within or outside the office
  • To learn about time management by handling different tasks.
  • any other task assigned by the line manager.                                                                          

Person Specification
