The incumbent will be responsible for quality implementation of project interventions in line with IRP strategy within assigned area. The incumbent will manage other project components like WASH, Shelter, Food/NFI Distributions, and Livelihoods etc. and ensure engagements with decision makers for rapport building and facilitating interfaces.

Technical Level 

  • Assuring implementation of project activities to achieve project results.
  • Monitoring project performance to meet project aims.
  • Building partnerships to support successful execution of the project.
  • Facilitate the process of selecting and prioritising enhancement projects for development to delivery stage.
  • Lead preparation of various project management tools: Annual work Plans (AWPs), Request for Proposals, TORs, Critical Paths, due diligence, agreements;
  • Support line supervisor/APM in planning, budgeting, implementation and monitoring of the project activities.
  • Keep track of the project financial and operational performance and ensure project activities are within assigned budgets, identify problems and suggests corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other staff in the design of monitoring programmes to evidence project outcomes.
  • Implementation of project activities as per business process and project document.
  • Discharge administrative and other responsibilities related to the function, and;
  • Development of technical documents for KAP, market assessment surveys, community forums capacity building.
  • Develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with partners and stakeholders, working with them to develop project activities.
  • Monitor financial performance of the project activities, prepare budgets, monitor spending and execution of activities.
  • Suggest capacity building activities for all staff to ensure continuous staff development.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned by the line Manager.

Operational Level

  • Record management – Assessment, databases, project activities report, daily field visit reports, project documents, financial reports etc.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Technical

  •  Implementation of project activities as per business process and project document
  • Development of technical documents and tools for capacity building of Community based groups as per project design.
  • Supporting project team in development of tools of for different surveys like KAP, KI etc. 
  • Strong collaborations with Government relevant Departments for smoothly implementation of program.
  • Development of resource material for events & sessions.
  • Development of IEC materials for the project activities
  • Organizing events in collaboration with Government departments.
  • To ensure the sustainability, effective linkages will be built with free psychosocial services providers.

  • Designing integrated work plans in collaboration with teams from other departments/thematic areas.
  • Coordinate with internal (APM, livelihood specialist other sector leads at CO & area level) & external (Clusters, contractors, Government departments, other organization’s representatives working in project areas, community activists, Dignity Groups and beneficiary households) stakeholders  related to project and other matters of mutual interest.
  • In place contingency plan to deal with external factors affecting or may affect the field activities
  • Ensure preparation & record management of project activities.
  • Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly and other progress reports for management’s info.
  • Preparation financial and narrative reporting for project donors.
  • Ensure proper filling of forms & formats as per desired standard
  • Extend support to MEAL / MIS / Communications staff for gathering desired information.
  • Close coordination with line manager for effective implementation of project activities.

Organizational

  • Ensure compliance with IR’s policies & procedures in true spirit for effective delivery of services to communities.
  • In depth understanding of IR values and their demonstration in the field while working with communities.
  • Abide by the IR zero-tolerance policy towards bribery & corruption through sensitization / empowerment of communities on coping mechanisms so that they can raise voice as & when feel inappropriate.
  • Thorough knowledge of IR strategic priorities to ensure effective implementation with future sustainability.
  • Assist in identification & documentation of organizational successes for showcasing IR work
  • Facilitate communities in adaptation of environment friendly & cost effective approaches to meet their current as well as future needs with specific attention to climate change.
  • Focused efforts to be made for mainstreaming of marginalized groups i.e. Persons with disability and old age, minorities, Women & children etc. in consultation & implementation of project activities at ground.
  • Strengthen mechanisms to Influence the decision makers through communities to pay attention towards their core issues, give voice to suffering and the excluded, highlighting the protection needs of people.
  • Participation and facilitation in the implementation of IR seasonal programs.
