Technical Level
- Conduct detailed design and Cost Estimation of solar energy systems, including photovoltaic (PV) arrays, mounting structures, and electrical components. Ensure compliance with industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Assess project feasibility, conduct site surveys, and analyze data to determine the optimal system configuration and energy output.
Operational Level
- Conducting technical surveys of solar Energy schemes in the villages.
- Preparing sub-project proposals for every RE (Renewable Energy) Scheme.
- Monitoring of schemes.
- Ensure quality of material
Organizational Level
- Demonstration of IR Values while working with teams/communities
- Empowering communities to ensure organizational accountability
- Knowledge of IR strategic priorities
- Identification & documentation of organizational successes
- Adaptation of environment-friendly & cost-effective approaches/activities for community development
- Special attention to inclusion during the implementation.
- Strengthen mechanisms to influence the decision-makers through communities’ advocacy & campaigning.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- It is essential that the post holder shows a good understanding and sympathy with Islamic values and principles as well as commitment to Islamic Relief Worldwide vision, mission, and core values.
Qualification:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
Experience:
- Proven experience in solar energy system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- 1 Year with a Master's degree and/or 2 years with a Bachelor's degree
Language:
Urdu, Sindhi, and English
Key Skills Requirements:
- Knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, and relevant safety standards.
- Familiarity with solar PV modules, inverters, and mounting systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Ability to work at heights, in outdoor environments, and under varying weather conditions.
- Proficiency in using relevant tools, equipment, and software for solar energy systems.
