Network Engineer

Responsibilities:

As a Network Engineer at IP Centric Systems, you will be responsible for:

Building and maintaining efficient network configurations and connections.
Establishing and optimizing the networking environment by designing system configurations, directing system installations, and configuring Cisco products.
Enhancing network performance by troubleshooting issues, resolving outages, and conducting system upgrades.
Configuring and installing various network devices and services, including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and QoS.
Conducting IPTV/OTT platform testing and ensuring their successful integration.
Monitoring overall network performance to determine necessary adjustments.
Providing Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to swiftly resolve issues.

Qualifications/Skills:

Proven expertise in Network Administration and Engineering.
Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience with network systems, including LAN, firewalls, routers, and printers, particularly with Cisco products.
Comprehensive understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Required certifications include CCNP; CCIE and/or CISSP are highly valued.
A solid grasp of network framework layers, specifically OSI or TCP/IP models.
