The GM of Supply Chain at Interwood Mobel Pvt Limited is a critical leadership position responsible for shaping and driving the strategic vision for the company's supply chain and production operations. With a focus on efficiency and effectiveness, the GM oversees all aspects of planning, procurement, production, manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and quality control. This role not only ensures that the company meets its operational, financial, and strategic goals but also actively develops the capabilities of its team, consisting of 40 professionals. The GM will play a key role in implementing automation technologies and best practices to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and improve customer satisfaction by ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, as measured by the monthly On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) metric for both stock and non-stock orders.
Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for supply chain management that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Oversee and manage the entire supply chain process from procurement to production and logistics, ensuring adherence to quality and efficiency standards.
  • Utilize data analysis to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels, reducing excess stock while meeting customer needs.
  • Establish strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms to enhance competitiveness and reliability.
  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of 40 individuals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Drive the deployment of AI and automation technologies across all supply chain functions to streamline operations and minimize manual efforts.
  • Ensure consistent communication and reporting within the supply chain team and across departments to enhance coordination and resolve issues proactively.
  • Implement logistics optimization techniques to enhance distribution efficiency and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Monitor supply chain performance metrics, including OTIF rates, and develop action plans to rectify issues and drive improvement.
  • Conduct market analysis using analytical tools to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks that could impact the supply chain and production operations.
  • Manage and supervise inventory control practices to guarantee the integrity of stock levels and reduce shrinkage.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of supply chain projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and proper resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with customer service teams to address any supply chain-related inquiries and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
