Job Requirements (not limited to):

  1. Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions on emerging digital technologies in engineering and manufacturing contexts,covering topics such as internet, mobile technology, social media, and digital currency.
  2. Analyze and explore the implementation of technology drivers like IoT, IIoT, AI, cloud computing, and automation in a smart factory manufacturing context.
  3. Investigate the impact of these technology drivers on various areas such as workforce, skills, efficiency, and change management.
  4. Identify the applications of technology drivers in industries like energy, automotive, health, transportation, and more.
  5. Evaluate the impact of technology drivers on smart factory operations, including aspects like connectivity, scalability, autonomy,agility, and efficiency.
  6. Identify and assess the role of voice-controlled user interfaces in enhancing smart factory processes and operations.
  7. Demonstrate proficiency in communication protocols such as LAN, CAN, optical systems, and wireless communications.
  8. Understand network architectures and standards, including routing protocols, routed protocols, and application layer protocols, aswell as security standards impacting networks.
  9. Implement network communication solutions, including cloud-based routing and switching, VLANs, network segmentation, access control lists, TCP/IP stack, IP addressing (v4 and v6), NAT, DHCP, transmission standards, and physical layer security.
  10. Evaluate the differences between on-premises, in-cloud, and hybrid systems, and apply NaaS (Network as a Service) in conjunction with PaaS, aPaaS, and SaaS models.
  11. Deploy VPN solutions, BoD (Bandwidth on Demand), and virtualization resources to optimize network performance and functionality.
  12. Proficiently troubleshoot basic hardware or software faults within computer systems, utilizing a range of hardware and software tools, including electrical/electronic test instruments, diagnostics, and monitoring programs.
  13. Apply troubleshooting techniques such as substitution, testing, changing, upgrading, and reinstalling software to diagnose andresolve issues effectively.
  14. Communicate clearly and effectively with users to understand reported faults and provide appropriate solutions, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and employing both verbal and written formats.
  15. Select and apply fault remedies by identifying sources such as knowledge databases, technical manuals, and internet resources, andemploying suitable hardware or software remedies as needed.
  16. Adhere to established working practices, including obtaining necessary permissions, preparing the worksite, recording information,and maintaining data security and integrity through backup and recovery procedures.
  17. Ensure health and safety in IT practices, following correct tool usage, electrostatic discharge precautions, manual handling practices,and fire safety procedures, while also maintaining data security and supervising others for safety.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepares and maintains training materials, including lesson plans, quizzes, tests, trainees’ records, supplies, AV equipment, tools, andtraining aids.
  2. Counsels trainees and maintains discipline for a safe and healthy work environment.
  3. Makes recommendations on and assists in the development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum and training aids.
  4. Performs other training and training-related duties assigned by Supervisor.
  5. Stays up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in information technology and incorporates relevant updates into training materials and sessions.
  6. Evaluates participants; progress and performance through assessments and practical exercises, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
