Looking for a certified Professional having a BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent along with 2-3 years hands-on experience in backend development using modern Java frameworks.
Work Model: Hybrid (4 Days On-Site + Friday Work From Home)
This position ensures:
Development
- Develop server-side features and integrations using Java 11+ and Spring Boot.
- Implement REST APIs, database interactions, and background/async processes.
- Write clean, scalable, and testable code following prescribed standards.
- Participate in debugging, performance fixes, and refactoring tasks.
Design Participation
- Support senior developers in preparing low-level designs (LLD), API specs, and schema definitions.
- Contribute ideas to improve application performance and reliability.
- Follow established architectural guidelines and microservice patterns.
Collaboration & Delivery
- Work with QA, DevOps, UI teams for sprint delivery.
- Participate in daily standups, planning sessions, and estimation discussions.
- Manage personal tasks in Jira and take ownership of assigned modules.
Code Quality
- Follow coding conventions, logging standards, exception handling guidelines.
- Write unit tests and assist in integration testing.
- Participate in peer reviews and adapt to feedback for continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- Strong foundation in Core Java, OOP, Collections, Concurrency basics.
- Experience with:
- Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate
- REST API development
- PostgreSQL / MySQL
- Familiarity with CI/CD (GitLab CI/Jenkins) and version control (Git).
- Understanding of caching, messaging, and containerization is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to microservices architecture.
- Basic understanding of messaging (Kafka / RabbitMQ).
- Hands-on with Docker and unit testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of cloud basics (AWS/Azure/GCP) is beneficial.
