Software Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in web development to lead our programming team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating with clients, sales teams, and developers to ensure projects are efficiently planned, executed, and delivered on time. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and technical skills to manage a diverse team of developers and designers with varying expertise.

Responsibilities:

Gather and document project requirements from clients.
Ensure clear and ongoing communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Oversee and guide the programming team.
Provide technical insights and resolve roadblocks.
Collaborate with the sales team to understand project scope and estimate timelines.
Create detailed project plans, including milestones, resources, and deadlines.
Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as necessary.
Review deliverables to ensure they meet client expectations and quality standards.
Manage the final delivery and deployment of applications.
Coordinate post-deployment support as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in web development (front-end, back-end, or full-stack).
Familiarity with mobile application development processes.
Knowledge of software development methodologies like Agile or Scrum.
Expertise in project planning tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, MS Project).
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to effectively communicate technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
Leadership qualities to motivate and manage diverse teams.
Empathy to understand both client and team needs.

Experience:

At least 5+ years in software development, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
Hands-on experience in client communication and requirements gathering.
