- Manage import and export processes in a cost-effective way with a specific emphasis on imports.
- Understanding of WEBOC/PSW operations, preparation of Good Declaration (GDs), EIF forms, data entry, etc.
- Manage banking operations pertaining to Letters of Credit (LCs), Bank contracts, endorsements of shipping documents, shipping guarantees, etc.
- Liaise with the Freight forwarding and goods clearing agencies for the import and export operations.
- Prepare import analysis, maintain and analyse targets evaluation reports of Principal Companies, prepare cost analysis and ensure that PO and other import documents are in line with the terms of the contract.
- Manage, control, check, and assist with issuing of all import/export documents.
- Post general ledgers entries under the supervision of Senior Management of the Finance Department.
- Maintain effective negotiation of duties and terms for imports and exports
- Maintain routine follow up of shipments with the Principal Companies
- Maintain a complete database of all import operations.
