Integrated Consulting Services seeks an experienced Supervising Engineer with at least five years of relevant professional experience in overseeing construction projects, specifically in irrigation and water-related infrastructure. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Irrigation Engineering and has completed at least three assignments similar in nature and scale. This role focuses on ensuring quality assurance, safety compliance, and technical reporting during the construction process to meet project specifications and standards. The Supervising Engineer is responsible for overseeing the daily operations on-site, ensuring adherence to construction designs, safety regulations, and quality standards. This role requires diligent supervision of construction activities, monitoring progress, and preparing detailed technical reports that document project status and compliance. The candidate must demonstrate strong expertise in construction supervision for irrigation and water infrastructure, prioritizing both efficiency and safety throughout the project lifecycle.


Responsibilities
  • Supervise construction activities ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to address issues affecting timeline, cost, or quality.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship and materials meet project requirements.
  • Prepare accurate and timely technical reports detailing project status, quality control, safety compliance, and any deviations or incidents.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to resolve technical challenges and maintain smooth project workflow.
  • Ensure implementation of health and safety protocols to minimize risks and create a safe working environment.
  • Verify that all construction work aligns with relevant regulatory requirements and environmental standards.
  • Assist in reviewing project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure clarity and feasibility.
  • Participate in progress meetings and provide expert advice on construction methods and materials.
  • Support the evaluation and management of construction risks, proposing solutions to mitigate potential problems.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and approvals for project documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing construction quality and efficiency.
