Finance Officer

Integral Global is seeking a dedicated Finance Officer to manage and oversee the financial operations and reporting within the organization. This role requires an individual with substantial experience in finance and accounting, adept at handling complex financial tasks including budgeting, forecasting, audit coordination, and compliance with donor requirements. The Finance Officer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, maintaining adherence to all regulatory and organizational policies, and supporting strategic financial planning. With a strong command of QuickBooks and advanced skills in financial analysis, the officer will play a crucial role in managing financial controls and delivering timely financial reports. The Finance Officer will lead a team of 10 finance professionals, ensuring effective collaboration and operational efficiency within the finance department. The role demands hands-on experience in managing multinational or donor-funded projects, particularly those involving the U.S. Government, CDC, or USAID. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in preparing project budgets, BVA reports, donor financial reports such as reconciliations and audit documentation, as well as possess strong knowledge of Pakistans tax regulations and donor compliance principles. This position calls for a highly organized individual with the ability to support procurement processes, enforce segregation of duties, and facilitate smooth financial workflows across the organization.
Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 10 finance personnel, promoting teamwork, professional growth, and adherence to financial policies and procedures.
• Prepare, review, and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to enable informed decision-making and strategic planning.
• Coordinate and oversee audit activities, ensuring compliance with donor regulations and organizational policies while preparing necessary audit documentation.
• Maintain and update accounting records using QuickBooks for daily financial transactions and operations.
• Generate BVA (Budget vs Actual) reports and detailed reconciliations to monitor financial performance against budgets and project targets.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and donor requirements, including documentation for U.S. Government and international donor-funded projects.
• Develop and implement robust financial controls, maintaining segregation of duties to safeguard organizational assets and prevent financial mismanagement.
• Support procurement processes by reviewing payment documentation and verifying compliance with financial policies.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis using advanced MS Excel techniques such as formulas and pivot tables to support reporting and forecasting activities.
• Collaborate with project teams and senior management to produce clear and concise financial reports tailored to different stakeholders.
• Monitor cash flow and assist in financial planning to maintain sufficient liquidity for organizational needs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on financial regulations, tax laws, and donor guidelines to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Provide training and mentorship to finance staff to enhance technical capabilities and understanding of financial management practices.
• Identify process improvements within finance functions to increase efficiency and accuracy of financial data and reporting.
• Participate in financial audits, liaising with external auditors to provide requested documentation and addressing audit findings effectively.
